LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Akron, OH location. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. This is a part-time and full-time opportunity with flexible 12-hour shifts.

LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
Conduct routine vital sign checks, assess patient condition, and report any changes to the nursing team
Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions

LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements

Current LPN licensure in the state of Ohio
Prior experience preferred; new graduates and experienced LPNs welcome to apply
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
