Senior Financial Analyst

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst.

Position Type: Full-Time, Contract
Duration: 3 months
Location: Englewood CO 80112 (Onsite)

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will:

• Serve as the finance partner for assigned IT departments, supporting financial planning, spend analysis, and business case development.
• Own annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for IT functions, including CapEx and OpEx management.
• Manage month-end close activities, accruals, variance analysis, and executive financial reporting.
• Support TBM (Technology Business Management) practices, IT cost transparency, and cost allocation processes.
• Produce and explain showback/chargeback reports to business stakeholders.
• Monitor vendor spend, contracts, renewals, purchase orders, and long-term financial commitments.
• Provide financial oversight for technology projects, including ROI, TCO, and investment analysis.
• Drive process improvements, reporting automation, dashboard development, and strategic cost-saving recommendations..

The ideal candidate will have :

• 4-6 years of financial analysis/accounting experience, ideally supporting IT, technology, or telecom organizations.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Working knowledge of TBM, IT Financial Management, and tools such as ServiceNow ITFM, Apptio, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, CapEx vs. OpEx, and financial controls.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, Power Query, and large data analysis.
• Experience with enterprise finance systems such as Oracle, OneStream, Essbase, SmartView, or Adaptive Planning.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with both finance and technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical/problem-solving abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $45-$50 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
