Make a meaningful impact on early childhood education as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist, dedicated to supporting preschool students in a dynamic onsite setting near Puyallup, WA. Beginning August 31st, 2026 and continuing through June 15th, 2027, this opportunity allows you to nurture communication skills for young learners while working in a collaborative and nurturing school environment.
You’ll enjoy a consistent full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the school community and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Washington state licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with preschool-age populations strongly preferred
- Ability to supervise and collaborate positively with SLPAs
- Demonstrated skills in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering evidence-based therapy
- Strong communication abilities, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, onsite speech and language therapy to preschool students
- Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster student growth
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to state and federal requirements
- Participate in team meetings and implement best practices for early intervention
