An organization within Northrop Grumman's Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) division, Cutting Edge Optronics is a leading provider of high-power laser diode arrays, high power pump modules and diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers. We are a vertically integrated manufacturer capable of supplying unmounted diode bars, packaged laser diodes, DPSS modules, laser diode drivers and complete DPSS laser systems. Our diode laser-based products have become industry standards and are used in a wide variety of commercial and military applications.
Northrop Grumman Cutting Edge Optronics (CEO) is looking for a highly motivated Assembler. This position requires a team oriented individual to perform tasks associated with the fabrication of laser diode bars, laser diode arrays or laser diode pumped gain modules. Primary responsibilities will include a subset of the following: (1) fabrication of laser diode bars, (2) fabrication of hard and/or soft solder mounted bar assemblies, (3) preparation of mechanical parts for laser diode array and subassembly builds, (4) laser diode array builds and (5) assembly and test of CW gain modules. Responsibilities are subject to change dependent upon your personal experience/strengths and specific needs of Cutting Edge Optronics. This is a 2nd shift position.
