Job Overview

The Director of Sales Marketing drives the strategy, planning, and execution of revenue marketing for customers and partners within the Southwest business space. This role leads and champions the marketing teams to achieve awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention goals.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for complete income advertising and marketing strategy and plan to support $5B in annual revenues along with GTM techniques and associated analytics.
• Drive the Southwest commercial enterprise brand and its related logo assets in alignment with the organization’s brand strategy.
• Determine when macro communications are shared, generating high-impact and well-timed content for customer fulfillment and account teams.
• Lead B2B media, advertising, and promotional investments.
• Power B2B Voice of the Consumer insights into action plans to meet client desires.
• Chargeable for e‑mail and website production in conjunction with data solutions for customer audiences and incentives.
• Collaborate across advertising suites to leverage and sell products, programs, and policies to power extended business journeys (e.g., fare products, rapid rewards).
• Perform additional process duties as directed by leadership.
• Manual and lead team contributors using SWA talent control practices to train, broaden, and engage employees (as part of talent development).

• Potential to plan and power large‑scale enterprise initiatives to completion.

Experience & Education

• High faculty diploma or GED required.
• Confirmed experience in main group(s) (direct or indirect).
• Advanced level enterprise acumen in functional vicinity.
• Seasoned and specialized knowledge in change control and non‑stop improvement, and pass‑practical crew management.

Additional Requirements

• Maintain a neatly groomed look in accordance with corporate appearance requirements.
• U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow attendance standards.
• Travel required (40%), with primary time spent at headquarters as senior leader serving move‑functionally among Southwest business and advertising.
• Comfortable with a limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods.
• Proficient with computer and workplace productivity tools.
