About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its public hospital, which is a vital part of the community's healthcare system. The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic, operational, and financial leadership, with a focus on advancing high-quality patient care, long-term sustainability, workforce engagement, regulatory compliance, and community impact. This role demands a politically astute and highly collaborative executive who can work effectively within a public-sector governance structure, building trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and enhance the organization's strengths while positioning it to respond to a rapidly changing healthcare, financial, and political environment. Candidates for the CEO position should have at least 5 years' of healthcare or hospital administration experience, including a minimum of 3 years' in an executive-level role. Experience in a public hospital, safety net health system, or similarly complex and politically governed environment is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, mission-driven leader with a strong commitment to health equity and public service. A master's degree in a relevant field is expected, or a medical degree with equivalent experience. The CEO must be adept at financial management, understand healthcare operations, and have a proven track record of leading a diverse and dynamic workforce.
