- Accounting Clerk Job Responsibilities and Requirements include:
- Process basic Accounts Payable, including data entry of vendor invoices and standard weekly check runs.
- Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents, flagging discrepancies for review.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable by posting customer payments, entering cash receipts, and sending balance reminders.
- Perform basic account reconciliations and assist senior accounting staff with resolving simple balance disputes.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical accounting files and records.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in computerized accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar ERP system), MS Excel/Office products, & Email.
- 1-2 years of entry-to-mid level accounting experience.
