Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have Skills/Experience: Med/Surg experience preferred Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Telemetry unit. This position involves providing care to a diverse patient population. Common diagnoses include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and congestive heart failure (CHF). Patient ratios are typically 1:5 to 1:6. The unit is equipped with various medical devices such as vital sign machines, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. Opportunities for professional development and growth are available. Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required.
