Job Title: Quality Control OperatorReports To: Quality Control ManagerJob Type/Location: Full Time, Union Position, Lodi, NJPosition Summary: The Quality Control Operator will use measuring and test equipment to conduct tests, perform inspections and/or to measure parts/products in Quality Control Department and accurately and legibly record results as applicable.Responsibilities:Test, inspect, and/or measure parts/products for conformance to specifications.Record results for conducted tests, performed inspections, and/or measured parts/products.Maintain Quality Control Department records, reports, logs and other documentation as required in an accurate and detailed manner.Assist with maintenance of measuring and test equipment in Quality Control Department.Maintain a clean and orderly work area.Perform activities in accordance with the specified requirements and procedures.Complete directions in an accurate, thorough and detailed manner.Qualifications and Skills:Ability to write and communicate in English (required).Good interpersonal skills.General ability to apply mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.General knowledge in using measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, gage blocks/pins, optical comparators, torque meters, and various electrical test equipment (preferred).Some understanding of complex engineering drawings, knowledge in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (preferred).Capable of using a computer and operating menu driven software (required). #J-18808-Ljbffr
