What You'll Do

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care for diverse patient populations, including infants through end-of-life adults
Manage trauma, critical care, and multispecialty cases such as cardiac, neuro, ortho, and general medical conditions
Titrate and manage ventilators, critical care drips, and hemodynamic lines (e.g., Art lines, CVP)
Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor ECGs, including stroke patients needing TPA
Assist with procedures such as conscious sedation, chest tubes, drains, and splinting
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including ED physicians and hospitalist staff
Document accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system

What You Need

Active Louisiana RN license
2+ years of recent ED experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
Knowledge of critical care procedures, cardiac monitoring, and trauma protocols
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
