Let's grow together!Role overviewThe ideal senior accountant candidate is a resourceful problem solver who will take ownership of critical accounting tasks and will be a key player in ensuring the accounting and reporting function will scale and support the company's rapid growth. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key to the success of the senior accountant. This is a work from home position with location preference in the San Francisco/Bay Area, Los Angeles/Southern California, New York City, Austin, and Boston. Some travel to in-person company events is required, approximately 2-3 weeks out of the year. In-person onboarding training will take place within the first 3 months of employment (locations vary).ResponsibilitiesPerform day to day accounting duties in AP, AR, cash management, payroll, FA, GL and other duties as assignedAssist with the monthly close process by posting monthly journal entries, performing account reconciliations and ad-hoc financial analysisAssist in maintaining regular contact and building solid working relationships with various groups to ensure a high level of customer service and work productAssist on projects and ad hoc assignments as neededRequirementsSolid understanding of GAAPExperience with standard software solutions preferred, for example: QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Campfire, Brex, Ramp, Rippling, Gusto, Rillet, CartaHighly detail oriented with excellent organizational skillsFast learner with high degree of professional curiosity and desire to learnAbility to manage multiple prioritiesEnjoy a collaborative, team-oriented environmentExperience implementing workflow automation or AI-enabled tools preferred. The starting salary range for senior accountant is approximately $100,000 to $115,000 per year plus bonus.BenefitsBenefits for full-time employees include: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (100% coverage for employees on base plan, 70% coverage for additional family members), participation in Flexible Spending Accounts and 401(k), 3 weeks PTO, voluntary Life Insurance & Disability plans, and work-from-home allowance.
