As a CNC Machinist, you will work alongside our experienced team of Project Managers, Industrial Designers, Engineers, other Machinists and Product Fabricators to deliver exceptional designs, prototypes and products to our customers.Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesDemonstrated problem-solving skillsCompetence with 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling and CNC turning (Haas and DMG Mori/Siemens Control preferred)CAM programing, setup/fixture design, and run (Mastercam preferred)CMM, inspection, quality control and related documentationContinuously learn, improve, and pursue your passion for creating precision parts and assemblies and solving complex problemsSource necessary tooling and materials to complete jobsCommunicate manufacturing improvements and optimization to the engineering departmentEvaluate prototypes and designs for refinement through assembly and testingDirectly contribute to the solutions provided to customersSupervision ReceivedReports to Shop Lead Weekly shop meetings to review project statusSupervision ExercisedNoneQualifications & Skills RequiredThis position requires meeting work deadlines, tracking time and materials purchased to meet production and budget goals set by others. Communication with supervisors or engineers on the job is essential. It also requires a signed employment and confidentiality agreement along with a background check. Ability to stand and work in a fabrication shop Ability to lift 50 lbs. EducationTrade school or associate's degree in a technical fieldExperienceMachine programming and setup: 5+ years of relevant experienceWorking with and proficient knowledge of CAMKnowledge of principles, and procedures relating to machining technologiesDemonstrated critical thinking skillsHands-on experience preferredAbility to work independentlyTravel to classes for additional training may be required.Position is first shift.
