Real Opportunity Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sun 12:00 PM - 06:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, support closing and opening activities, and assist with crowd flow, lost person reports, and other customer-facing concerns in a professional manner. Observe for policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or potential theft-related activity, then notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
