Insurance Coverage Attorney

A law firm seeks a mid-level Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its expanding practice in California. The successful candidate will advise insurers on complex coverage issues related to emerging risks, such as social media, AI, and privacy claims, and represent them in litigation involving commercial lines liability and excess policies. Duties Advise clients on coverage under commercial lines liability and excess insurance policies. Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and coverage opinions. Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, and motions. Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations. Manage matters, deadlines, and client communication proactively. Requirements Licensed and in good standing in California. Experience in insurance coverage or complex commercial litigation. Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Effective problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications California Bar admission. Skills Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
