Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Chest tubes, stable trach management, IV skills, port/central lines, knowledgeable on CPAP/BiPAP/Airvo (RT will manage equipment), foley insertion/care, feeding tubes, cardiac rhythm interpretation

Titrating Drips: Cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, argatroean

Unit / Facility Details: Free parking

Shift & Scheduling: No on call

Weekend Rotation: Every weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun)

Holiday Requirements: 50%

Schedule is made 4-6 weeks at a time, will receive 2 weeks prior

Floating Requirements: All inpatient units and Boarding

Travelers will be required to float to the below units as well as anywhere in the hospital there are MedSurg patients, including ER Holding/Boarding

• MS1 General Medical Surgical
• MS2 Ortho/Neuro
• MS2 Cardiac

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
