You'll play a key role in ensuring products are received, stored, and distributed efficiently while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.What We OfferAnnual bonus opportunity targeting 10% of base salaryOpportunity to lead and develop a successful warehouse teamCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageStable employment with an established, industry-leading beverage distributorCollaborative, team-oriented culture focused on service, accountability, and operational excellenceOpportunity to make a direct impact on safety, productivity, and customer satisfactionKey ResponsibilitiesCoach, direct, and counsel drivers regarding performance expectations, operational standards, and safety requirements.Monitor driver performance and provide ongoing coaching, development, and performance feedback.Work alongside drivers in the field a minimum of one full day per week to provide training, support, and reinforcement of company delivery policies and procedures.Build strong working relationships with drivers while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Support daily delivery operations, route execution, dispatch activities, and transportation-related issue resolution.Ensure all Transportation Drivers are logged into Roadnet each morning.Publish required Roadnet reports daily, including case reports and operational reports for Branch Management.Support efficient route performance and service execution.Safety & ComplianceConduct monthly safety meetings and training sessions.Ensure DOT files, licenses, and medical certifications remain current for all CDL Drivers.Promote and enforce company safety practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.Ensure fleet-related concerns are communicated and addressed in a timely manner.Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and employee development initiatives.Process payroll documentation, uniform orders, and maintain department employee records.Assist in resolving cashier department discrepancies and delivery-related issues or customer complaints.Collaborate with internal departments to improve communication, service levels, and operational performance.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Must be at least 21 years of age.Minimum of 3 years of delivery driver experience required.Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience required.Must possess a CDL or be willing to obtain a CDL within six months of hire.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as business needs require.Preferred QualificationsExcellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with employees and leadership.Strong organizational and planning abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills with the ability to motivate employees and improve performance.Knowledge of transportation operations, route management, and DOT compliance requirements.Physical RequirementsAbility to walk, stand, bend, reach, and stoop throughout the workday.Ability to occasionally lift, lower, push, pull, or carry up to 100 pounds.Ability to routinely lift and handle products weighing 40 to 50 pounds.Ability to drive a delivery vehicle for extended periods, up to 10 hours as needed.Ability to work in both an office environment and the field alongside drivers.As the Distributor of Choice, Capital Beer and Beverage embraces a culture where diversity drives innovative solutions for the success of our employees, retailers, and supplier partners.
