The City of Rancho Cordova is seeking a Senior Management Analyst to join the City Manager's Office!In this role, you will provide high-level analytical and project management support across a variety of Citywide priorities and special initiatives. You will work closely with executive leadership, City departments, and community partners to support strategic planning, budget development, contracts, internal communications, and other projects that advance the City's organizational goals.This position provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and wants to contribute to projects and initiatives that have an organization-wide impact.About the RoleAs a Senior Management Analyst, you'll play an important role in supporting the City Manager's Office and advancing key Citywide priorities. Your assignments will combine project management, research and analysis, strategic planning, budget and contract administration, internal communications, and cross-departmental coordination. Key Responsibilities include:Provide high-level analytical and project support for Citywide priorities, special projects, and emerging initiatives.Support City Council strategic planning, including research, preparation, coordination, and follow-up on identified priorities.Assist with the City's budget development process and other financial or fiscal projects assigned to the City Manager's Office.Administer and coordinate City Manager's Office contracts, consultant agreements, and special studies.Prepare and coordinate research, reports, presentations, staff reports, and other executive-level materials.Serve as the City Manager's Office lead for the RC Hub (internal SharePoint site), including maintaining internal content and supporting the City Manager Corner site page.Represent the City Manager's Office on internal committees and cross-departmental initiatives supporting organizational culture, employee engagement, collaboration, and communication.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a resourceful, organized, and collaborative professional who can see the big picture while effectively managing the details.
