As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will use technology to document activity, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.94 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain access-related records in accordance with site procedures. Screen incoming deliveries, vendor personnel, and contractor access as directed, and coordinate with site contacts regarding authorized arrivals and departures. Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control and badges is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
