About the Company

A Series A, AI-native marketing automation platform (founded 2022) built for modern software companies. The platform lets growth teams run their entire go-to-market motion in one place — from acquisition through retention — with AI agents doing work that legacy tools can't. Backed by $28M raised from top venture firms; the SF-based team includes operators and engineers from Airbnb, Palantir, Pinterest, Shopify, LinkedIn, and Microsoft.

Hiring its first Founding Recruiter to build the recruiting function from the ground up. This is a full-cycle, high-ownership role partnering directly with founders and hiring managers across technical and business functions, owning sourcing, pipeline quality, and candidate experience end to end. The expectation is that this person grows into head of recruiting over time, eventually leading a team of recruiters and RCs as the company scales. Recruiting is a centralized function with direct visibility into every hire across engineering, marketing, and sales.

• Own full-cycle recruiting across both technical and business roles, from sourcing and screening through coordinating and closing
• Build and own the sourcing infrastructure — pipeline enrichment, outreach tooling, and AI-forward workflows that surface strong candidates faster than the competition
• Partner directly with founders and hiring managers to calibrate on roles, build hiring strategies, and keep processes moving with clarity and speed
• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience from first outreach through offer, in a demanding candidate market
• Iterate on recruiting infrastructure including ATS hygiene, interview process documentation, and sourcing playbooks
• Use market data and sourcing signals to advise on compensation benchmarks, pacing, and where to focus sourcing effort

1. 2–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a track record of owning sourcing, screening, and closing across both technical and business roles
2. Prior experience recruiting at a startup or at an agency that works primarily with startups — one of the first 1–3 recruiters at a company, or a top performer at a startup-focused agency
3. Bachelor's degree from a US or Canadian university
4. Hands-on sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, comfortable building and activating candidate pipelines independently
5. Willingness to work in-person five days per week at the San Francisco office
6. Ability to operate as a full IC, including scheduling and RC-level coordination in the early stage before additional recruiting headcount is added

• Experience with AI-forward sourcing tools such as Juicebox, Clay, or Harmonic
• Familiarity with Ashby or a comparable modern ATS
• Experience recruiting across both technical and GTM functions
• Background that started in RC or sourcing before growing into full-cycle recruiting

Employment: Full-Time  |  Location: San Francisco, CA — In-person (5 days/week)  |  Experience: 2–6 years
Compensation: $150,000–$225,000 / year plus competitive equity. No visa sponsorship.
