What You'll Do:
- Provide care for patients recovering from surgical procedures in the PACU setting
- Support pediatric, adult, and all surgical/procedural populations in a high-volume hospital
- Float to pediatric PACU as needed, supporting diverse age groups across multiple ORs
- Utilize advanced equipment such as Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Accuvein during patient care
- Assist in patient assessment, monitoring, and recovery planning following major surgeries
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards, including emergency response readiness and documentation
What You Need:
- Valid RN license in State of practice
- ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications required
- At least 1 year of PACU or Pre/Post Op nursing experience; critical care background preferred
- Strong skills in patient assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response
- Comfort working with pediatric and adult patients, floating across units as needed
