RN - Wound Care Profession: Nursing Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid California RN License required Certifications: BLS certification required; wound care certification preferred Must-Have: Previous travel experience and EPIC experience required Description:Conduct patient assessments for wound care services based on patient needs and conditions.Collaborate and communicate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.Partner with peers and management to streamline patient workflow and improve outcomes.Communicate patients' plans of care effectively to coworkers and during shift changes.Provide compassionate and cost-effective patient care in accordance with nursing standards.Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.Delegate tasks appropriately to team members based on their capabilities.Explain treatments and activities to patients and families in a clear and collaborative manner.Ensure patient understanding through teach-back methods.Document all treatment information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).Monitor patient care interventions and assess therapy outcomes.Conduct ongoing education for patients and their families to optimize care.Reassess and adjust patient care plans as needed based on evaluations.Report safety or compliance concerns and document near misses.Participate in system improvement activities related to patient care.Uphold confidentiality of patient information at all times.Stay current with advancements and best practices in nursing and wound care.Participate in formal teaching and transition planning with patients and families for identified health needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
