Qualifications:

• Valid and active New Jersey RN or LPN license
• Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
• Previous experience assisting individuals with cerebral palsy and complex medical conditions is preferred
• Skilled in providing G-tube care and administering feedings
• Familiarity with identifying and managing seizures
• At ease supporting a nonverbal, non-ambulatory student
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to offering 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 care to a student with medical complexities, ensuring safety and attending to unique health needs during school hours
• Monitor and address G-tube requirements, medication administration, and other specialized interventions
• Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies, including seizure activity
• Serve as a compassionate advocate for the student, helping facilitate participation in classroom activities
• Collaborate with school personnel and families to promote seamless care

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.11 to $40.11. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
