PharmacistOwings Mills, MD Pay From: $55 per hourMUST: 2 plus years of experience as a pharmacist Must have an active and in good standing Maryland pharmacist license Must have home infusion experience Must have TPN therapy experience Must have sterile compounding experience with 797 standards IV certification preferredDUTIES: Pharmacist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:Assists new patient admissions through collaboration with nursing and intake staffReceives, verifies, reviews and documents all new patient ordersAssists the physician in setting therapeutic objectives for drug therapy and establishing limits for monitoring the safety and efficacy of drug therapyMonitors the outcomes from drug therapy by collecting, evaluating and interpreting the results of laboratory data, clinical data and other pertinent patient informationCommunicates the results of therapeutic drug monitoring activities to the physician, nurse and other appropriate personsCompletes and maintains appropriate documentation related to medication profiles, progress notes, assessments, care plans and all other clinical activities, in accordance with applicable state laws, regulatory agencies, company policy and procedure, and accreditation standardsProcesses and checks all medicationsPrograms and troubleshoots infusion control devices as indicatedQuadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
