This position will have the following general/minimum responsibilities:
- Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from plan.
- Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.
- Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends, recommending actions.
- Working on the preparation of quarterly reports, monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications and coordinating information requirements.
- Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations.
- Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completed related results as needed.
- Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
The following education, experience and knowledge are preferred for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent business experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; maintain appropriate communications within area of responsibility and between divisions.
- Sound administrative skills, well-developed management skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the accounting software, financial software, knowledge of verifying and interpreting financial data and records.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require frequent weekend and evening work.
- Frequent sitting and operating a computer.
