Estimator

We are partnering with a growing general contractor to identify an experienced Estimator to join their team. This individual will play a key role in the preconstruction process by preparing accurate cost estimates, developing budgets, evaluating subcontractor proposals, and supporting project pursuits from concept through award. Responsibilities Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard-bid estimates Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analyses Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing Develop project budgets and assist with GMP preparation Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives Support bid reviews, scope leveling, and proposal preparation Collaborate with project management, operations, and preconstruction teams throughout the pursuit process Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, labor rates, and material pricing Qualifications 3+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction Experience preparing estimates for ground-up and/or renovation projects Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience with estimating software and digital takeoff tools Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Preferred Project Experience Experience in one or more of the following project sectors is a plus: Commercial K-12 Education Higher Education Hospitality Mission Critical/Data Centers Annual bonus opportunity 401(k) with company match Career growth and advancement opportunities Stable project backlog and long-term pipeline #J-18808-Ljbffr Engtal
