Controller

JCW is currently partnered with a leading multinational bank seeking a Controller to join their U.S. finance organization. This role owns the financial and regulatory reporting function for the bank's U.S. operations, partnering closely with Treasury, Risk, and senior finance leadership. This is an opportunity to take on a high-visibility controllership function within a global institution, with strong exposure to senior finance and regulatory stakeholders; this is a hybrid role with 4 days in Jersey City. Responsibilities Oversee the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting under U.S. GAAP Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, as well as regulators Maintain and strengthen the control environment, identifying opportunities for process improvement Manage and develop a team of accountants/analysts Qualifications 8+ years of accounting/finance experience within banking or financial services Strong understanding of FBO regulatory reporting requirements and U.S. GAAP CPA strongly preferred Comfortable operating in a matrixed, global organization with multiple stakeholders Haley Rizzo specializes in partnering with audit and finance professionals at leading organizations nationwide.
