What You'll Do:

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients, including 2D, M-mode, and Doppler exams
• Coordinate with hospital departments on scheduling, patient transport, and billing
• Assist cardiologists during exams by preparing measurements and supporting diagnoses
• Respond to patient needs throughout procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintain equipment calibration, cleanliness, and supply inventory
• Document and organize patient records and exam logs accurately
• Participate in performance improvement activities and stay current on advances in echocardiography
• Assist with emergency and other cardiac procedures as needed
• Share on-call responsibilities for emergency exams outside regular hours

What You Need:

• Required:
  • A.R.D.M.S./CCI registration or eligibility
  • New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and manual dexterity skills
• Preferred:
  • Additional certifications or relevant clinical experience
