Client Support Worker (CSW)/IDD (Developmental Disabilities) / Group Home Location: One World Trade Center, 285 Fulton St (85TH FL), New York, NY 10007 Company Overview: Our client in Griffin, GA is seeking dedicated and compassionate Client Support Workers to join their permanent staff. Job Description Starting Pay: $14.40 per hour + shift differential for nights and weekends Shifts Available: Full Time, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM or 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM Quick Start: Begin in as little as 2 weeks Payment Method: Weekly pay via Direct Deposit Job Requirements Client Support Worker (CSW) qualifications: Valid Driver's License Preferred: Prior experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities Fingerprint-Based Background Check of Georgia and Federal Criminal History Records Drug Screening Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past seven years High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Responsibilities Provide direct supervision within a 24-hour IDD Residential Facility Observe and monitor individuals' behaviors Supervise medication administration with 100% accuracy Provide transportation as needed Perform light cleaning duties (sweeping, dusting, mopping) and report needed repairs Document and complete reports as required Ensure the safety and whereabouts of clients at all times Attend, prepare for, and actively participate in staff meetings Maintain a valid driver's license for agency vehicle operation Complete all annual training and comply with company policies Demonstrate understanding of and willingness to learn individual behaviors/symptoms Effectively monitor and maintain awareness of individual's whereabouts and assignments Intervene and diffuse potentially challenging situations using positive reinforcement Adhere to agency, HIPAA, and Federal confidentiality policies Demonstrate knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care If you are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
