Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations in schools
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ specific needs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and related services staff to support holistic student growth
- Documenting progress, maintaining records, and preparing reports in compliance with school guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary support teams
- Providing consultation to teachers and staff regarding best practices for language development in the classroom
