Site Safety Manager

Tutor Perini Building Corp. is seeking a Site Safety Manager to join our project located in Pocola, OK. Responsibilities: Maintain a safe job site, monitor safety, and take appropriate action to correct any safety issues or deficiencies. Oversee and manage on‑site safety staff, including Safety Engineers, Coordinators, Apprentices, and Safety Administrative Assistants across multiple shifts. Purchase safety equipment. Handle site‑specific safety assignments and provide multi‑shift coverage. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, TCIP requirements, and keep abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Monitor activities at construction sites and conduct daily construction site inspections. Assist Project Manager and/or Superintendents with the development and monitoring of job‑specific safety plans. Review accident procedures. Prepare and review minutes of safety meetings. Maintain SDS and Hazardous Communication Program. Complete incident reports and distribute and maintain files. Gather toolbox reports from foremen and subcontractors. Receive and monitor safety reports, respond to discrepancies in monthly man‑hour reports, and maintain OSHA Log 300. Monitor all accidents and maintain appropriate paperwork and files related to them. Gather monthly safety hours from subcontractors for the monthly report and forward to the Safety Director. Maintain and conduct safety audits. Control hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee activities through safety management and contact with field supervisory personnel. Supervise and conduct safety and first‑aid training of staff at project sites. Document all accidents, safety violations, and unsafe conditions or activities. Manage investigations with employees, subcontractor personnel, and TCIP carrier for each accident occurrence or violation. Review daily, weekly, and monthly field documentation to ensure all required records and reports are complete, accurate, and submitted per established procedures. Accompany all safety, health, and insurance inspectors, owners’ representatives, and Tribal Nation Safety representatives on walk‑through tours. Perform additional assignments at the supervisor’s request. Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Procore software. Seven or more years of construction experience. Previous safety experience on a construction project valued at over $500M. Construction Safety and Health Technician (CHST) certification. Familiarity with occupational safety and health laws and regulations. Current certification in first aid and CPR by the American Red Cross or its equivalent.
