Desired qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate required by start date. Emergency permits considered with HR sponsorship.
• Experience working with special education populations, including students with autism spectrum disorders or learning differences, is strongly preferred.
• Adaptability to work effectively in either elementary, middle, or high school environments.
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, patient approach and a commitment to individualized student success.

Role responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to promote educational, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and families to create inclusive classroom environments.
• Monitor student progress, document interventions, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Utilize creative and evidence-based strategies to address diverse learner needs.
• Maintain a structured, nurturing classroom with a focus on respect, engagement, and growth.
