Purchasing Manager

Qualified Staffing is seeking a Purchasing Manager for our client in Macon, GA. Schedule: Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Fridays as needed) Responsibilities Manage purchase orders from creation through completion Track open orders and follow up with suppliers on delivery timelines Maintain accurate purchasing data, pricing, lead times, and vendor information in ERP/MRP systems Support inventory control efforts and help prevent material shortages Assist with vendor quotes, cost comparisons, and supplier performance tracking Work with drawings and manufacturing documentation Support DCAA audit activities and procurement compliance Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and data accuracy Collaborate with multiple departments to support production goals Qualifications 5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred) Strong ERP/MRP system experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and follow‑through Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision Understanding of manufacturing workflows, inventory practices, and lead times High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Why work for Qualified Staffing?
