End Date: 04/27/2026

Shift: Day or Night, 12 hours (07:00 19:30 or 19:00 07:30)

Hours/week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Contract (13-16 weeks)

License/Certs: BLS (required); Oncology experience preferred but not mandatory; EPIC charting experience required

Experience: At least 2 years of Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide patient care for adult inmates with oncology or other complex medical diagnoses
• Float across various Oncology Medical-Surgical units and support multiple departments as needed
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, manage IV therapies, and perform advanced patient assessments
• Use EPIC for documentation and Pyxis for medication management
• Ensure staff safety within a secure correctional environment, following facility protocols
• Assist with complex procedures including PICC line and central line care, blood product administration, and airway management
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and facilitate rapid response teams when necessary

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Ohio RN license
• BLS certification
• Epic charting experience
• At least 2 years of Medical-Surgical or telemetry nursing experience

Preferred:

• Oncology experience (not mandatory but a plus)
• Experience with complex patient populations, including hematology, chemotherapy, and ventilator management
