Registered Nurse- Progressive Care Unit

Overview Due to recent growth at this location, we have expanded our PCU services to meet the demands of our patients and community. We are looking for positive nurses who enjoy working with a team, are passionate about helping others, patient‑centered, and thrive on a variety of daily tasks. This team builds on each other’s strengths and works together to provide exceptional care. These Progressive Care Units are cardiac focused, but not specialized, with an average stay of 3–4 days. Shift: Full Time Day, 6:45am‑7:15pm, 36 hours a week. Key Responsibilities Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Perform patient care. Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff. Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health‑care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrate proficiency and comply with policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures. Qualifications Less than 1 year of applicable experience. Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or RedCross. Registered Nurse – associate degree. Benefits Health, Vision and Dental.
