About the Role

The Company is in need of a strategic and hands-on VP of Manufacturing to lead its site operations for a temporary period. The successful candidate will be a dynamic operations leader with a proven track record in driving manufacturing excellence and building high-performing teams. Key responsibilities for this role include driving operational excellence, fostering a customer-centric leadership approach, and developing and executing strategic growth plans. The VP of Manufacturing will also be responsible for people and culture, ensuring a collaborative, accountable, and high-engagement work environment, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a background in engineering or business, and at least 10 years of progressive operations experience within an FDA-regulated environment, with a focus on CPG. The role requires a leader with deep expertise in high-volume, low-cost manufacturing environments, particularly in the implementation of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic, non-bureaucratic leader with a hands-on approach, outstanding instincts, and a strong sense of urgency. Success in this position will be measured by the elevation of key metrics, the advancement of quality and safety initiatives, and the optimization of the new product introduction process.
