Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current SC Multicategorical Special Education certification required
• Experience teaching or supporting special education in primary/elementary school settings preferred
• Solid understanding of instructional strategies tailored for diverse learners
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Strong organizational skills to maintain documentation and track student progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to a caseload of up to 33 students in K-4th grade
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and utilize data to inform instructional decisions
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff to modify curriculum and accommodate student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and independence
