Communications ManagerThe Communications Manager works closely with the account leadership and Business Operations Teams to support communications, including drafting written collateral, developing account-specific messaging, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment, managing content for newsletters, supporting account-level recognition and cultural engagement efforts.Facilitate strong relationships and open communication with brokers, leadership, across departments.Strong collaborative leadership skills, including ability to collaborate up, down and across the organization.Align and executive on a PR strategy that supports the firm's business objectives, while providing the highest level of client serviceProvides strategy and tactics to achieve objectives and key performance indicatorsEnsure consistency, quality, and usage of best practices in all communications, leveraging traditional and digital media channelsBoost company's brand awareness, engagement, and thought leadership with best-in-class use of traditional and digital media channelsUphold the mission and standards of the company and support firm-wide initiativesCrisis management: support Asset Services leadership with all external communications initiatives surrounding sensitive company information and crisesIdentify and build strategic relationships for the company with national, local, and trade mediaDraft and disseminate pitches and press releases for notable transactions, wins, personnel changes, research and company milestonesIdentify and nominate brokers and transactions for relevant award opportunitiesDevelop a calendar of paid and non-paid speaking opportunities (conferences and panel discussions) for senior brokers and leadershipStaff all conferences and panel discussions where media is presentDevelop proactive media relations campaigns around trends and news of the dayCreate and develop sponsored content campaignsDevelop, draft, and place paid sponsored content articles in relevant publicationsDevelop and draft relevant blog postsWork with research to publicize the firm's data and look for trend stories to use the data to tell a storyUse any developed or existing thought leadership content to garner media coverageAssist brokers in complying with media and social media policiesBachelor's degree or equivalent experience5+ years of communications experience in a corporate or agency environment.Applies analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologiesProven capabilities supporting C-Suite leadershipThorough knowledge of commercial and property management real estate industryAbility to effectively influence others to achieve understanding, acceptance, and commitment to act in support of ideas, programs, or causesAbility to work effectively in a diverse environmentAbility to independently achieve successful outcomes on all executed activities with minimal supervisionSuperior organization and time management and project management skillsAbility to draw upon the analysis and make recommendations that have a direct impact on the companyAccountable for delivering key performance indicators; using dashboard to track media engagementPrior experience implementing communications and PR strategiesExcellent writing, editing and proofreading skillsProven ability to understand, synthesize, and reorganize complex informationAbility to work effectively, efficiently and independently in a deadline-driven and dynamic office environmentExperience developing and nurturing online audiencesAbility to work with high-level executives and revenue producersProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteC&W provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
