Oncology Registered Nurse – Columbus, OH | Acute Leukemia & Hematology – Night Shift

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)

Hours/Week: 36 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: BLS and ACLS required; ONS Chemo Cert and NIHSS preferred

Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in hematology/oncology or related area

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and hematology conditions
• Monitor patients using telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
• Administer blood products, IV therapy, and manage central/peripheral lines including PICC lines
• Assist with feeding tube care and IV start/maintenance
• Collaborate with Rapid Response Teams as needed
• Focus on infection prevention and patient falls prevention protocols
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic charting
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards
• Adapt to changing staffing needs across days and nights based on unit requirements

What You Need

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or the ability to obtain
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hematology/oncology setting
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and IV therapy
• Ability to work a Night 3x12-hour shift schedule
