Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is seeking a driven, customer-focused Spa Manager to lead our Stamford location. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coaching teams, driving sales performance, and creating outstanding client experiences.

As Spa Manager, you will oversee daily operations, lead and develop a team of wellness professionals, and drive membership growth, revenue performance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Membership & Sales Growth

· Lead and coach the front desk team to achieve membership enrollment goals

· Promote our Lifestyle Membership Program through exceptional client consultations

· Increase revenue through service enhancements, retail sales, promotions, and community outreach initiatives

· Monitor trends and implement strategies to maximize sales performance

Lead & Develop a Winning Team

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top talent
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance management
• Foster a positive, motivating, and results-driven culture
• Recognize and reward team achievements

Manage Daily Spa Operations

· Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and staffing coverage

· Maintain compliance with company policies, service standards, and cleanliness expectations

· Track KPIs including membership growth, revenue, retention, retail sales, and guest satisfaction

· Resolve operational challenges proactively and efficiently

Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience

· Create a welcoming environment that exceeds client expectations

· Handle client concerns professionally and effectively

· Build long-term client relationships that drive retention and referrals

· Ensure every guest receives outstanding service from check-in to check-out

Qualifications

Required

· 2+ years of management experience in a spa, salon, wellness, fitness, hospitality, retail, or service-based business

· Proven success leading teams and achieving sales, membership, or business growth goals

· Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

· Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

· Proficiency with scheduling, reporting, and operational management

· Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and one weekend day

Preferred

· Experience managing membership-based businesses

· Background in wellness, beauty, spa, fitness, or hospitality environments

· Experience with retail sales and customer retention programs
