About the Role

\n

Elavi is looking for a highly organized, energetic, and dependable Part-Time Field Marketing & Demo Coordinator to support our growing retail and field marketing programs.This is a hands-on contract role focused heavily on coordinating and supporting in-store demos, Brand Ambassadors, retail execution, and field marketing initiatives across key retail partners.

NOTE: Weekend availability is required, as many of our demo activations take place Friday through Sunday.

\n

\n

The selected candidate will begin training and onboarding in December, working closely with the Elavi team to learn our demo processes, systems, , agency relationships, reporting, and expectations. The role will kick off fully in January and be a 3 month contract. Depending on the person and fit, it could transition into something consistent and ongoing.

\n

What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Coordinate in-store demos and field marketing activations across key retail partners
\n
• Manage Brand Ambassador scheduling, confirmations, coverage, and communication
\n
• Conduct weekend check-ins with Brand Ambassadors and demo teams
\n
• Communicate demo expectations, product information, talking points, and execution standards
\n
• Troubleshoot day-of-demo issues including staffing, inventory, product placement, signage, and store-level challenges
\n
• Coordinate with third-party demo agencies and field marketing partners
\n
• Track demo schedules, store locations, Brand Ambassador information, and activation status
\n
• Review demo recaps, photos, shopper engagement, samples distributed, and sales results when available
\n
• Identify key wins, trends, opportunities, and underperforming locations
\n
• Support merchandising initiatives including secondary placements, displays, signage, and product visibility
\n
• Assist with store outreach and telemerchandising when needed
\n
• Maintain organized spreadsheets, trackers, recap documents, and field marketing materials
\n
• Provide concise weekly updates on demo performance, coverage, challenges, and key takeaways
\n
• Support additional retail and field marketing projects as Elavi continues to grow
\n

\n

December Training & Onboarding

\n

December will serve as a hands-on training and transition period. During this time, you’ll work alongside the Elavi team to learn Demo scheduling and activation processes:

• Brand Ambassador and agency communication
\n
• Retailer-specific requirements and expectations
\n
• Weekend demo check-in procedures
\n
• Demo recap and reporting expectations
\n
• Inventory and merchandising troubleshooting
\n
• Internal trackers, spreadsheets, and communication tools
\n
• How to identify and escalate issues quickly
\n

\n

The goal is for the selected candidate to feel confident and prepared to jump in fully beginning in January.

\n

What We’re Looking For:

\n

\n
• Experience in CPG, retail, field marketing, events, demos, or Brand Ambassador management preferred
\n
• Strong communication and organizational skills
\n
• Comfortable managing multiple activations and moving pieces simultaneously
\n
• Able to work independently and make quick decisions when issues arise
\n
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
\n
• Comfortable communicating with Brand Ambassadors, agencies, store teams, and internal leadership
\n
• Experience with Google Sheets, Excel, Google Drive, Slack, Canva, or similar tools is a plus
\n
• Positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented
\n
• Familiarity with grocery, natural, club, or specialty retail is a plus
\n

Schedule & Position Details

\n

Position Type: Part-Time Independent Contractor

\n

Hours: Approximately 15–25 hours per week depending on activation volume

\n

\n

Training/Onboarding: December

\n

Demos will start: January

\n

Weekend Availability: Required

\n

\n

This is a flexible part-time position, but candidates MUST be available on weekends when demos are taking place. Weekend responsibilities may include Brand Ambassador check-ins, monitoring activations, troubleshooting issues, reviewing photos and recaps, and communicating with demo partners.Weekday hours will primarily focus on scheduling, preparation, reporting, retailer outreach, and planning upcoming activations.

What Success Looks Like

\n

By January, you can confidently manage the day-to-day coordination of Elavi demo program with minimal oversight.

\n

Demos are staffed and confirmed ahead of time, Brand Ambassadors know exactly what is expected of them, weekend activations are monitored, issues are addressed quickly, and recaps are organized and communicated back to the team.
