Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary school environment, supporting students in grades K-4 on a 12-week contract assignment. This full-time role runs from August 2026 through November 2026, offering the opportunity to work closely with young learners and help them achieve their educational goals.

Requirements and Desired Skills:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary (K-4th) students
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and implementation
• Ability to collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, and families
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to student growth
• Previous contract or travel experience in schools is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Provide small group and one-on-one instruction, modifications, and accommodations tailored to each student’s needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families and staff
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and school personnel to ensure comprehensive support
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Manage caseload responsibilities within a full-time, Monday to Friday schedule (32-37.5 hours per week)
