DEUBLIN - CNC Operator - 1st Shift

\nWe are seeking aCNC Operator on 1st Shift. This position performs duties to operate CNC twelve - axis lathes, machine tools, or vertical machining centers to produce close tolerance parts of varied materials. This position reports to the CTX/Tooling Machining Manager. This is a non-exempt position with a pay range from $22.26 to $30.11 per hour. Pay will be based on qualifications and experience. \n

How you will make a difference \n

\n

\n
• Perform standard work as assigned.
\n
• Read and understand blueprints to perform job functions.
\n
• Load and remove components from machine as required.
\n
• Check piece part dimensions. Notify Team Leader of part-dimensional discrepancies.
\n
• Notify set-up person or Team Leader of equipment, material, or operating problems.
\n
• Remove chips from machine and replace chip containers as needed.
\n
• Operate a variety of precision measuring tools including Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, and Gauges.
\n
• Operate equipment including deburring tools, pallet trucks, hand tools, hoists, and computers.
\n
• Ability to use floor terminals to perform job tasks such as punching on and off jobs, reviewing work instructions and drawings, etc.
\n
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
\n
• Understand and follow all safety rules.
\n
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you should be good at \n
\n
\n

\n
• High school diploma, or equivalent is preferred.
\n
• Minimum of 5 years' experience is preferred.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and work instructions. Ability to write routine correspondence.
\n
• Proficiency in basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
\n
• Ability to convert between metric and imperial units.
\n
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
\n
