Ultrasound Technician - Traveler Contract Position

Location: Anchorage, AK

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technician for a traveler role to join our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will support various settings including Outpatient, Mammography, ER, and OR cases requiring Ultrasound.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations including pelvic, OB, scrotal, breast, abdomen, para/thoracentesis, biopsies, arterial, and venous procedures.
• Provide high-quality imaging while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Utilize GE Logiq ultrasound equipment and work with EMR systems including Epic and McKesson PACS.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARDMS certification is mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with a variety of ultrasound procedures is essential.
