Job Summary:

The Overnight Environmental Services Manager plays a critical role in delivering the World

Equestrian Center’s commitment to exceptional hospitality standards. This position is

responsible for the overnight cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation of all public spaces,

arenas, and guest-facing areas to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment for guests,

exhibitors, and visitors each day.

This leader will oversee overnight team members, ensuring all areas of the property reflect the

luxury, safety, and service excellence that define the WEC experience. The ideal candidate

brings strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. This role requires

flexibility, including weekends and holidays, to support the 24/7 operational needs of the

property.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee all overnight environmental services operations across the property, ensuring WEC’s

high hospitality and cleanliness standards are consistently met.

Supervise, train, and coach overnight team members, reinforcing a culture of service excellence

and accountability.

Conduct routine inspections of public spaces, arenas, restrooms, and common areas to ensure

cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Coordinate and assign daily and nightly cleaning schedules to support operational readiness for

events and guest activities.

Ensure proper handling, mixing, and storage of cleaning chemicals in compliance with safety

standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Operate and oversee the use of custodial equipment including buffers, pressure washers, and

other cleaning tools.

Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness without interruption to

service.

Respond promptly to urgent cleaning needs, guest concerns, or operational priorities during

overnight hours.

Partner with other departments to ensure seamless transitions between events and daily

operations, maintaining a guest-first mindset.

Ensure all trash removal, recycling, and sanitation practices align with company standards.

Maintain detailed reports, inspections, and shift documentation.

Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting,

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or custodial operations within

a hospitality, hotel, or resort environment preferred.

1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience required.

Strong commitment to hospitality, guest service, and maintaining luxury-level presentation

standards.

Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment.

Flexible and dependable with the ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain consistency in high-visibility guest areas.
