Step into a dynamic role supporting students as a Paraprofessional, providing meaningful assistance within special education classrooms. This contract-based position centers around building a Substitute Pool in the Simi Valley area, allowing you to pick up substitute shifts with the exciting prospect of transitioning to a full-time position in the 26/27 School Year.

What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of experience in a special education (SPED) classroom setting
- Willingness to work substitute shifts as needed
- Flexibility regarding diverse caseloads and student needs
- Ability to commute reliably to Simi Valley, CA and surrounding areas
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with special needs under the supervision of licensed educators
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting learning materials
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture
- Help with instructional activities, classroom management, and student engagement
- Create a supportive environment that encourages student growth and independence
