Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience working in a Special Education classroom
• Willingness to accept substitute assignments as needed
• Adaptability across a variety of caseloads and classroom environments
• Must reside within a commutable distance to Simi Valley, CA
• Enthusiasm for supporting students’ diverse needs and collaborating with educators

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed teachers in delivering classroom instruction and individualized support
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students with varying abilities
• Help monitor student progress and foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate
• Collaborate with classroom staff to implement IEP accommodations and behavioral strategies
• Ensure student safety, engagement, and participation throughout the school day

This contract role offers a sub assignment rate of $29 per hour, providing flexibility to manage your schedule and gain valuable experience within multiple educational sites.
