Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse Orthopedics

Schedule: Rotating shift schedules (Day/Eve/Night), including weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements:

• RN License (New York only)
• BLS (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS (American Heart Association only)
• Telemetry experience required
• Orthopedic experience
• Two (2) years of nursing experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in an orthopedic unit specializing in orthopedic trauma and spinal surgery.
• Monitor patient conditions and coordinate care with other healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on perioperative care and recovery processes.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to patient care initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
