In this role, you’ll work alongside an experienced Farmers Insurance Agent and receive hands-on training and support in:

Prospecting and generating new business

Educating customers on insurance options

Building and maintaining client relationships

Marketing and lead generation

Cross-selling and identifying coverage opportunities

Managing sales activities and following up with leads

The agency is in an amazing, highly visible location with a Keller Williams office directly above it, creating excellent opportunities for professional networking, community connections, and potential referral relationships.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, coachable, comfortable speaking with customers, and excited about achieving personal and financial goals. Previous sales or insurance experience is preferred, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

Responsibilities

Guide community members through their insurance options to find coverage that fits their specific life circumstances.

Reach out to prospective clients to share how our agency can provide better protection and peace of mind.

Manage existing client accounts by answering questions and adjusting policies when life changes happen.

Participate in local McKinney events to help neighbors understand the value of our agency.

Review client files regularly to ensure they have the right level of coverage as their needs evolve.

Collaborate with the agency owner to track progress and celebrate our team successes.

Requirements

Active Texas General Lines Property Casualty License.

Active Texas Life Health License.

Prior experience in insurance sales or a similar customer-facing role.

Strong comfort level with computers and navigating digital insurance platforms.

A clear, confident, and friendly voice when speaking with people.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
