QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED preferred Very effective organizationalskills Time and stress management skills Effective verbal and listeningcommunication skills High ability to work independently or as part of an accounting team Analytical and problem-solvingskills Attention to detail and an eye for a high levelof accuracy Ability to meet all assigned deadlines Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process invoices at a minimum of 10 per hour with limited errors Match invoices to purchase orders for processing Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Keep a record of any missed discounts Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries Research vendor statements and follow up on any listed past due invoices Obtain new vendors W9 information for tax filing Maintain confidentialityconcerning financial andemployee information Maintain orderly financial filing system Assist with other accounting projects in the office

TRAINING:

Knowledge of accounts payable Knowledge of general accounting procedures Knowledge of relevant accounting software 1 year of accounts payable or general accounting experience

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

Stopping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist. Example: Changing paper in a printer or copier machine. Lifting, raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. DEGREE OF LIFTING: 5-25 lbs. Fingering, picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm as in handling. Talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; via face to face or telephone. Repetitive motions, substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
