Commercial Loan Assistant

Come grow with a company voted a “ BEST PLACE TO WORK !” Griffis/Blessing is looking for a Commercial Management Assistant to support one of our Portolfio Managers in Denver , CO The ideal Commercial Management Assistant will: Be a quick learner, flexible, able to multitask and set priorities. Pay close attention to detail and organization. Possess excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling. Be proficient in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint & Adobe. Have accounting background or experience. Be able to work independently with minimum supervision. Be a self-starter, outgoing, dependable. Possess strong customer service and communication skills, ability to deal with tenants, vendors and owners in a tactful manner. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Be a team player. Be able to be on call and work OT when needed. Have a minimum of 2 years of property management experience. Reliable personal vehicle is necessary. Duties: Assist with completion of monthly reports, contracts, correspondence, AP, work orders, budget prep., collections, operating expense reconciliations, filing, lease abstracting and input into Yardi. Maintain electronic and hard copy files. Maintain tenant and vendor certificates of insurance. Monitor ongoing service contracts and prepares new or contract extensions. Assist with maintenance and monitoring of tickler files/lists. Act as liaison for management between tenants and vendors. Maintain tenant and vendor information and contacts. New tenant set-up: abstract, files, monitor lease expiration and renewals. Assist with coordination/execution of Fire/Life Safety – Drills and tenant appreciation events. Assist management with special projects, requests and assignments. Other duties as assigned by Portfolio Manager or Vice President of the Commercial Department If this describes you, then we have a great opportunity for you.
